My visual recipe was I needed to find a model, then dress them in different outfits, and then find a background which was sometimes a blank wall and other times it was something more elaborate. All my photos are in black and white because that is what John French did. John French's models used props such as bags, jewelry, and cigarettes. I used bags as props and the mood was fun. My genre was fashion through portraits. One of my biggest goals throughout this process was to make sure the models were having fun with this as well as making sure my photos were posed because that's what John French did.
I think you really achieved what your artist, John French, did. I also like how your models did different poses in order to has some variety in your collection.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you used different models and different outfits. I think the black and white help makes it cohesive but I would try to make stronger edits with the black and white filter. Play with the contrast more.
ReplyDeleteI like your first three photos especially with the bag, my suggestions are to use more models and use more accessories to pose with, it can be as simple as necklace that the model toys with.
