Slo-Mo

This week we worked on Light Painting, Blurred motion, and panning. Light painting was my favorite because you got to move your light around multiple times in a dark room which ended up creating an image. Motion Blur was also interesting because you needed to move your camera really fast to get streaking of rapidly moving objects. I really enjoyed this one as well because you could do it with anything and it would always be unique. Lastly, we worked with panning which I found the most challenging. You need to focus on the background and then follow the car and make sure the background is blurred and the car is in focus which is quite challenging at first however once you get a hang of it, it becomes very fun.

  1. I love your light painting; I think you got really creative with them, and it had nice results. I also like your panning, especially the interesting angle.

  4. Your panning photos are so cool because you made the cars look like miniature toys. Your abstract photos are also really visual because of the way you used metal and lights.

  5. I really like the designs you created in your light painting photos. My only suggestion is to make the subject in your panning photos more clear.

  8. I feel that your strongest set of images were your panning because of the the blurry background which really turns your attention to the main subject. Good Job Lauren!
